CD description

The 14 new songs on this album were written by international award-winning songwriters Janice Kapp Perry and Joy Saunders Lundberg who have first-hand experience with adoption and foster parenting. Joy and her husband Gary have five adopted children and Janice and her husband Douglas have had multiple foster children in their home. Their personal experiences bring validity to the tender message of each song.

The beautiful orchestral arrangements complement the five soloists, headlined by popular recording artists Jenny Jordan and David Tinney. The songs are written in a variety of different styles, with each artist powerfully portraying the poignant message in his or her own captivating presentation.

The songs include the many different facets of adoption and foster care from the perspective of the birth mother, to the case worker, to the adoptive or foster parents to the children themselves. It includes themes of adopting and/or fostering a newborn, an older child, a disabled child, children of a different race or culture and step children. These songs can help birth mothers have the courage to give their child a better chance for happiness through adoption, and adopting parents to find the joy and overcome the challenges that may come. They can, likewise, inspire parents to foster children in need of a loving home.
